AIGA DC welcomes its new board members for 2008-2009, and thanks its outgoing board members for their outstanding service.

Nominations for new board members were solicited from the membership at large. Per chapter by-laws, a nominating committee selected the new board members, taking into account the professional diversity of the membership, the need to represent the interests of the entire chapter membership and prior volunteer experience. Every board member commits to two years of service to the chapter as a volunteer. This year, the AIGA DC board had five available spots for new board members.
